Our Location

West Bay Resort is located on a working farm, allowing you to see equipment working in the fields planting, harvesting, making hay, working with cattle or any of the many things we do from day to day.

A private lake access with launch area has been built for the exclusive use of our guests.

In order to maximize your enjoyment of the privacy and seclusion that we can offer, we are limiting the number of cabins.

We are located 15 miles west of the city of Devils Lake and 5 miles north of Minnewaukan on the north shore of the West Bay on the famous Minnewaukan Flats of Devils Lake. We are located on an island created by the rising waters of Devils Lake. We are open year around for your pleasure be it open water fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, birding or just plain getting away from it all.

West Bay Resort is south of Highway 19, about five miles northeast of Minnewaukan, a small town that offers Odden’s Grocery, Dakota Spirits Bar, Randy's Bait and Tackle, Cottage Gift and Floral, Minnewaukan Museum, Miller’s Pub & Grub, four churches, and a Bremer Bank branch office.
